In the tristate area, Edward Garcia has stood for decades as an example of a driven, ethical business leader who has given it his all to help develop both the local Hispanic business community and the people participating in it, and cross cultural ties between his native Ecuador and the United States. This hard ongoing work has recently been recognized by the Hispanic American Association of New Jersey who presented Garcia with their very prestigious Hispanic Entrepreneur of the Year Award at a special ceremony held on June 3rd, 2016. “I’m very proud and grateful for this recognition,” commented Garcia. “I will continue to work hard in these areas and to build my own business, which does its best to serve our community in a positive and constructive way.” Garcia is the founder of the first Chamber of Ecuadorian Commerce of New Jersey and New York, known as CAMCOMEC and also the Founder and CEO of E&Q Tax Accounting & Business Solutions, a one stop shop tax and small business solutions company.
